What the Church needs now is...

During this summer at Bent Tree they have serment serious - What the Church needs now is...
1 - a Christian Worldview (some thoughts after this message)
Jesus Christ was dead, buried, now undeniably alive. He spoke about Kingdom of God at his last days.
Gospel the reign of God is at hand and is now breaking into the World.
The Kingdom of God is a present reality, inaugurated at the cross when Jesus broke power of satan.
We don't invite Jesus in our heart but HE invites us. It's not about us but it's about Him!
Good news:
- This world matters! Jesus is making new
- Jesus describing the Kingdom of God in which all that has resulted from sin and the fall is being restored by Him
- The Kingdom message is Christ setting things right again - making everything sad come untrue We are temple of the Holy Spitit. And we are body of Christ.
How church present God's mission in the World?
- Christians demonstrate what life looks like under the reing of God within a distinct communuty - The church serves the world by enacting justice and meeting human needs thought compassion and mercy

2 - Some True Discipleship
disciple is learner (from greek)
The goal of spiritual formation is to be like Jesus, be like a Master
Method of spiritual formation is training
Spiritual formation not about appearances, but character.
Spiritual formation not about trying hard, but training consistentlyDisciples are not born, they are made
You need to training to be a true disciple, not to trying
Diciple - need to be deily discipline
- training every time and be disciple not just at the quit time
- be with body of Christ - with church
Deep message is not teological information or something like this but it's a deep message when it's change your life. Maybe it's just simple things but they will change your life!

What are you doing with your list of tasks?

One day Gerry spoke with Kera and me about our tasks, works, dealing...
Which order do we put them in? How do we deside what we will do at the begining, what's next?
It's realy important to draw a table where we will have cells with names -
Important/Non-important and urgent/non-urgent.
Every task we can put in different cell.
If we have a lot of important things, sometimes we need to overview them.
So tacks can be important but non-urgent. But then this task can move to important and urgent! It can happend because of our inattention or carelessness. We always need to analise tasks and choose what is important now and what is non-important and is it urgent or non-urgent.
We need to do this, if we don't want to burn out in our ministry or life.
Sometimes it's hard to decide what to do in the begining which is realy important. But it will help us not to burn out.

1 month left

I'm so sorry, my dear friends, that I haven't writen here for a long time.
One month finished since I've been here in the United States. It's a long period of time but on the same time it's just begining.
During this time God already shows me a lot of things. This is God's present!
I have a lot of different opportunities here. One of the most important thing is that I can observe and learn how people serve God. I see that people have a strong relationship with God and between each other.

I'm reading book "The Heart of the Artist" (Rory Noland). It's a great book for people, who wants to serve God and have success, especially in worship. I want to share with you some thoughts.
The arts can be extremely powerful. They can awaken us to truth and can change lives.
Our message (ministry) is "demonstration of the Spirit's power".
Proven character is level (standart) for ministers.
Authenticiy is a powerful witness to the presence of God in our lives.
Integrity simply means doing what's right in God's eyes.
Barriers to true sevanthood: an attitude of Superiority, selfish ulterior motives, confidence in our giftedness alone.
Serventhood starts with humility. Humility means moving from selfcenteredness to God-centeredness.
Healthy boundaries are a must if we're going to serve the Lord with joy and gladness. We need to think about our family, health and in a right time say 'no' for something, if we don't want to burn out on ministry. We can spend too much time at church and neglect out family, our health, and even our relationship with the Lord but that's real shame because it doesen't glorify God to burn out.
The ultimate test of serventhood is whether you can be content to serve an audience of One, when it's OK to serve in anonymity. We need to serve God, not people or serve ourselfs.
Relationship is very important im ministry!!! But it's very hard to build them and relationship are a lot of work.

So, here is some thoughts. I continue to read this book and will share with you some thoughts again
